Prescott Valley Council in Thursday's regular meeting accepted a Safe Streets for All grant in the amount of $544,896. Safe Streets for All is a federal grant program that provides funding to communities to improve pedestrian and bicyclist safety. Grant funds may be used for planning studies as well as for projects such as construction of new bike lanes, crosswalks, sidewalks, and other public improvements.
